About my server host
 

Hello,


How do I know if its my server slow or x-cart? I also, have another website with the same host, using a different shopping cart and it work just fine. Only x-cart are slow same time.

So how can I tell if its the server or x-cart/

Any help please.

Tom, the only way to know is to try out a different environment and run a benchmark test. That's my opinion at least. On occasion, I have setup demos for clients to try out my hosting provider for free.

If you like, I will setup a little sandbox for your store, and we can see if it is your host or not. PM, email or call me if you are interested.

X-cart is fast and light when run in a properly configured environment. Most hosts can't cut it.

You can host wth many hosts but only a handfull know how to setup their server environment to please XC. And XC is always hungry for resources. Check the XC recommended hosts - you can,t go wrong with them
