Category to disable Out of Stock products
 

We need one of our categories ("Re-Order") to show items that are out of stock so they can sign up for BCSE's "Back in Stock" notify.

Any ideas on how to do this?

If you just want Re-Order category to show out of stock products then you need to modify some files.

I figured this much, I just didn't know if I could edit products.php or something to make some type of if / else statement. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Sorry I was still looking into this matter. If I were you I will start looking into skin/common_files/modules/Flyout_Menus

Two ways of doing it - either func.product.php changes to query hidden products based on their category or a checkbox for each product to ignore out of stock for that product so it is included (this will still require products array changes but is per product base).
