Jumpy Product images for variant radio buttons
I have products with 3 variants. We use radio buttons.
Variant A - same size image Variant B - same size image Variant C - larger size image Moving from a to b and vice versa is fine. When you select variant C though with the larger image, it's jerky. It looks like it's zooming the variant image you're currently on before it shows variant C's image. Here is a live example: http://www.panoramas.com/oregon-state-university-beavers-at-reser-stadium-panoramic-picture-orsu2.html Is this correctable in the javascript...or is it a template issue? Either way, how so? |
Re: Jumpy Product images for variant radio buttons
My experience is to make all of the images the same size. You can do this by making the "canvas size" a standard size throughout your site and adding appropriately colored background to fill the unused portion.
Anyway, I think the problem occurs because the "colorbox" is having to render a new size box than the previous one. I don't know if this is "fixable" using JavaScript or not, but I would guess its no. |
