out of stock items -- add to wish list
 

Hi :D

I was wondering if there is a way to enable customers to add "out of stock" products to their wish list.
Currently when an item is out of stock the "add to wishlist" button is not available.

Have you ever figured this out? We're looking for the same thing.

It seems silly not to allow this for out of stock items! You need a wishlist the most for them.

I don't believe this is possible with X-Cart and I haven't seen any modifications yet that actually enables this specifically with the Wishlist.

However there are some modifications that comes very close to what you want I think, try take a look at the "Back in Stock Notification" mod here:
