VAT setup to function as deposit
 

Hi, does anyone know how I can get around setting up a deposit to be added at checkout? at the moment I've set up a new set VAT rate for the job, in my cart it shows as a deposit but when it goes through Paypal it show up as a VAT payment, is there a any way around this or another option for adding a deposit,

You can try payment "Extra charge" feature:

Hi, Thank you for the reply, just looked at this option but cannot see a way around the extra charge being applied to only half the items in my store. I have dresses for sale and the same item can also be hired with a ё50 deposit, I've created links for both sale items and hire items, if I add the extra charge it applies to all items in the store,
