Removing unused CSS , is it complicated?
Hi All,
I'm chipping away at maximising the performance of a store and want to know how hard is it to remove any unused css? Currently on the homepage I have approximately 50% which is unused (and this represents about 20% of the total size of the page) Obviously some of it will be required for other pages but is there a tool or guide in relation to what can be removed, as opposed to simple (and timely) trial and error? Thanks in advance. |
Re: Removing unused CSS , is it complicated?
The CSS is cached by the user's browser. I would not modify it if I were you.
And yes, CSS is very error prone. |
