mini cart not moving dynamically while it should
 

Hi there,

My mod design is based on the Vivid Dreams Chromo skin.
As it is my very first design, there is certainly a few mistakes in the codes that i have modified to fit my needs...

For example, i have moved the mini cart from the right header's original place on the vivid dream and set below the categories menu on the left side of the page container.

Problem : when the categories menu is increased in height (for ex. by adding a new category), the mini cart that should going down with other objects stays on the same place and is recovered by the categories container. So, at this time i'm blocked to add a new category.

For the same reason (dynamically free the left side below categories) i would need the 'create my account' 'log me in' 'lost password' fields to fo down when categories are added (notice that language variables are translated in french 'me connecter' 'creer mon compte' etc.)

Who can help me with those issues ?

I know it has something to do with position relative or fixed however i have tried a lot of times but without success... so i wound need someone to check the code and correct it...

If I understand the issue correctly the mini-cart section is covered by the categories section instead of pushing the mini-cart section down. Correct?

In this case you should wrap the mini-cart code with a div having the "position: raltive;" style applied.

Thanks for the tip, i'll try this. However, i have already solved the problem temporarly by moving the minicart and login containers above the menu categories.
