No side panels when in cart
 

Hopefully I'm asking this in the right forum.. My problem is that when anyone enters the cart on my site, everything in the left and right panels disappears! The backgrounds for the panels are still there, they're just empty, which throws you a bit and gives the impression that there's an error.

I would imagine that it's just a case of calling a file from somewhere, but to save me days of looking, does anyone know how to fix this... Thank you!

The site in your signature does have the side columns and all info in them. What are you missing?

I know that if you go to the cart without having any items added to it, it all looks fine, but if you add an item to your cart then go to the cart, everything in the side panels disappears. Or, if you try going straight to check out the same thing happens! Any help would be great!

Oh you are talking about the cart/checkout pages. This is the default XC behaviour - it leaves only cart/checkout contents on the page so the attention is on the checkout. But the default template does not have the left/right columns on these pages - yours is modified to have the them. I would suggest take them out completely, if you wan them to be there use webmaster mode to find out which templates exactly

I would like to keep everything in my side panels all the time, but must admit, i don't know how to use webmaster mode to find out certain files etc. I guess it's just a case of taking a small piece of code from one template and putting it on another template...

Once again, any help would be great!

It's all in home.tpl - but cart/checkout pages use different home.tpl located in modules/fast_lane_checkout. You can take the left/right column contents form customer/home.tpl and copy them to modules/fast_lane_checkout/home.tpl, adjust css if necessary
