Preview link in providers area
 

Hello,

I'm hoping that someone can help me. Before I start, I just want to say that I am not a programmer!

We have the pro version which allows multiple vendors. We also have the BCS Engineering Mod XMall so that the vendors/providers have their own stores.


We want to add a "preview your store" link in the provider▓s admin area, so that a provider can just click on the link from their admin area and their store will open in a blank page or tab and they can preview their changes immediately.

I have a piece of code that I've used in other parts of the site but it won't "break out" of the admin area. The code is -
<a href="{$catalogs.customer}/home.php"></a>


When I add it to a providers admin tpl such as, menubox.tpl, it just opens the main page of the providers admin page, and does not go to their individual store.

Something extra is needed in the piece of code to get out of the providers admin area, but I don▓t know what.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the BCS Engineering Mod XMall.
But we'll see probably there is an easy way out.

Could you please clarify some points first:
* the relative path to provider's customer front end.
* the relative path to provider's admin back end.

What does the 'emmajudelyons' mean? login? Please clarify.
