I am finding quite a few customers are not seeing the "Apply" button below the Name & Address fields - which means they don't proceed to the next step

I have added some text to the top of the page using webmaster mode

But I want to edit the Checkout page so that the whole left hand "Name & Address" column has a light blue background (like the credit card input area) making it obvious there is more info down the page

I can't seem to find which template file to edit - I am using Fashion_Mosaic_Green as the template

can anyone help me out ?

Webmaster mode also will tell you which template to edit. As you mouse over the template names, the page displays a border around what that template is controlling.

You might be able to do this with css, however. You can use Firefox + the Firebug addon to see what css controls the sections you want to update.

But - your best option might be not to use the x-cart one page checkout. The checkout should not offer any confusion to the customers, or they likely will abandon and you lose a sale.
