FacebookTab v1.1.0 has been released

Since release on February 14th, 2011 FacebookTab module has more than 7000 active users (both sellers and buyers).

Today we are glad to announce the release of FacebookTab v1.1.0 that implements the following improvements::

• Price changes dynamically depending on the product options selected on the product lists
• Wholesale prices displayed on product lists
• Thumbnails update depending on the variants selected on product lists.
• Support for UTF8 encoding improved (for full support of non-English languages).
• Performance improved for matrix view of product lists.
• Minor bugfixes.

Hello

I have updated Facebook Module by uploading all files and overwriting them on existing files.

But now nothing is showing on facebook.

also shows only "5.2.17"

Please help me.

There was a very disappointing bug in v1.1.0. We corrected this error in "modules/Facebook_Tab/func.php" file and updated the kit in File Area to v.1.1.1 version ( Jul 28 ).

Your FacebookTab module works correctly now:

First of all, please, refer to this post:

There are some problems with default facebook widget. If the workaround doesn't help you, please, post the ticket in HelpDesk where provide us with all the details and URLS of your facebook pages.

Hello,

I have finished replacing the files as per the instructions of the tutorial, however now I have a problem where the thumbnails of my items are not showing. Please review the attached file.

Any advice on how to fix this?

In my FF5 all is ok. I checked your module here:

and all the images are displayed properly. Please, refresh the cash and re-check it. If the problem still exist, post the ticket in HelpDesk system and provide us with version of the browser which you used

Thank you so very much for your help with this.

Maxim, the issue is only occurring with IE 8 browser on Windows XP. When you go to the FAcebook Tab, the thumbnails on the first page are showing properly, but when you click on another category, you get an notice asking you if you wish to "View only the content that was delivered securely? Yes or No", if you click yes, the thumbnails don't show up. It never used to ask this before from us. It is however working perfectly on ther other browsers. Is there a way to fix it on IE8 too?

We found the reason. It was in HTTP/HTTPS images linking and browser surfing.

We applied the corrections to your module on your store. Check it.
