Identify CSS files
I searched the forums and couldn't find anything on this so here is my problem:
I haven't touched X-cart since version 4.3 and theming in that version was fairly easy. However now i am finding it to be extremely tedious due to this new caching system. Basically the problem I am having is identifying which file a CSS declaration is in now that Smarty seems be combining all of them into one cached file. I use firebug for alot of my editing and beside each declaration it would identify which line and CSS file this was in. I could then go into Netbeans and goto the specific line. Now with this new system I find myself wasting time searching for where this css declaration is, sometimes they use the same ID or Class in various files and its a major time waste searching each time to make my updates. Is there a a way I can disable this until the site is in production? This would be a serious deal breaker for me as it would make my theming process take over double the time. I really hope this can be disabled. Thanks for your help Edit: forgot to mention this is with version 4.4.3. I am not sure why my signature is saying 4.2.3 as I've never used it. |
Re: Identify CSS files
General Settings > Disable JS and CSS Speedup Tools
Tools > Maintenance > Clear Cache Then use Firebug for Firefox. |
