Include Manufacturers NAME in search/quick search
 

Hoping this is some tick button that I can't find in the Manufacturer Module configuration area or search configuration....

I want to include the name of the manufacturer in any search, not just filter by manufacturer. So say the product is 'Red T-Shirt' and the manufacturer is 'Nike'. If you search Nike there are no results unless you mention Nike in the product name or product description. Strange ....

I've seen a quick fix where the manufacturer name is duplicated in an Extra Field but I'm looking for a real fix.

Any ideas?

You can add search keywords on the product details page or alter the "include/search.php" script.
