Basic Changes
 

We want to make some changes to our website that I believe should be relatively easy, but unfortunately I do not know how to go about doing it. My main job for this website is managing the products so I have minimal experience with the more complex changes and customization you can make with X-Cart. The changes I want to make are:

1. Under the "Your Cart" section, I want to change the order that the links are listed in so that Checkout is at the top.

2. At the bottom of the page we have a disclaimer beneath our terms and conditions. How would we edit this?

3. We have links to our facebook and twitter accounts, however we changed our twitter account and it still links to the old one. I just need to know how to edit it to go to the right url.

If anyone could help me out with these and explain it in a fairly straightforward way I would be very appreciative.

Be sure to make a backup copy of any files you are going to change.

1. This menu is created by (one of) the file(s) menu_cart.tpl which is in the skin/<yourtheme>/customer directory. You can change the appearance order there unless the "Checkout" is in an included file.

2. Go to admin "Content/Languages" and search for "privacy" or "terms". You should be able to edit the content there.

3. I'm not sure how these links are defined. I would need to look at the actual code. You can try searching for some of the link text in the languages section as in #2 above.
