how to duplicate 1 static page into many static pages that have the same layout?
 

Hello All,

I will have more than 100+ static pages, all within the same more or less layout, showing my portfolio of designs.

I have a static page now called:
"Design Gallery Page 01"
and I like the layout.

Is there a way to, within x-cart or maybe outside x-cart to rename that "Design Gallery Page 01" to "Design Gallery Page 02", then a new page, "Design Gallery Page 03" and so, on, and then, after I upload all of those static pages, then
go in using the static pages section and edit each one individually.

Can I somehow upload using FTP those 100+ "Design Gallery" pages and then they will appear when I click on "static pages" within the admin section?

Or, do i have to create individually 100+ pages?

Can I just download the "Design Gallery Page 01" static page from: skin/common_files/pages/en/design_gallery_001.html
then duplicate it all the way to design_gallery_100.html then using FTP upload those files to: skin/common_files/pages/en/

Will the static pages function recognize those new static pages automatically and show them to me in the pages-list ?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

yes you can, as long as they have different names

With that many separate pages have you thought about using a photo galley web site script?

From a very quick look one called Plogger looks like it may work, but I have no experience with it.
