You can use the Upgrade or Export features:

You can also use phpAdmin in cpanel to tranfer all data.

You have to use the upgrade procedure to upgrade db from 4.2.x to 4.4.x, everything else will just lead to errors and missing information

Its look like very complicated. is it anyway more easier to transfer the category's and products from 4.2 to 4.4 version please help

Did you try the Export recommendation?

Use the operations feature in each database to copy table to new database . If the fields don't match, it wont export. Then, just export into Excel, add missing fields and import.
