How to view source code
I'm trying to customize various parts of how the cart looks in a browser, and it's very helpful to me to see the source code for a particular page. It often gives me hints and references that I can't see in just looking at a particular tpl.
But I notice in 4.4.x I can't see source code like I normally can through my browser. Is there anyway to temporarily turn on 'view source code' ? Thanks! |
Re: How to view source code
Not sure what you mean Jim, you can view the source in any browser. Use the 'Page Source' link under the 'View' toolbar or use CTRL + U in Firefox.

Re: How to view source code
Thanks for your response Padraic
Can you give me a page done in 4.4.x that you can see source code in? All I get in all 3 browsers chrome, IE, ff is the very beginning of the head with the meta's. Nothing else. We used LiteCommerce before, and that was fine. |
Re: How to view source code
Scroll down - if you have Speed Up tools for js and css turned on 4.4.x leaves huge black space after the meta calls - all css/js code is compressed and cached in one file, hence the blank space

Use Ultraedit from ultraedit.com
I use that all the time, you can access your store program files using the built in FTP. ITS GREAT |
