Add more to Recommends
 

Okay when your looking at a product you have the recommended products, now this can be made to show products randomly.

But it only shows a simple template format, what I would like to a one to inc buy now and market price and % savings.

Has anyone worked out how to put in these pieces.

It is possible, you have to edit the recommended products template - modules/Recommended_Products

The recommends template is the simple product list - it doesn't have any buy now ability in it. When looking at the php its basically getting a bunch of product ids randomly using the rand keys table.

Then sent to the template which doesn't have the buy now functions, but product list does but again it won't show buy now.

By some tweaking I can get the recommended products onto the homepage as a block no problem but I want the buy now etc just the same as featured, which uses the product_t template.

I'll try it tomorrow just wondering if I passed the ids to the featured.php I wonder if this would work - i'll have to do some looking.

Any other suggestions in the meantime would be greatly appreciated.
