Working with the UI Tabs on product.tpl
 

Can anyone tell me if there's an admin section about the UI tabs that are displayed on product.tpl? Is there any way to control what appears in this section?

Unfortunately there is no control (apart for turning on/off modules). The only control is to modify the php and tpl files manually to whatever you want to achieve

Yes, there is only one option on the "General settings -> Appearance" page -> "Display additional sections as tabs on product details page".
The tabs themselves are related to enabled modules (Detailed Images, Upselling Products, Special Offers, etc).

How about if you just want to change the order of the tabs?

For example, I have 'Send to Friend', 'Related Products', and 'Customers Also Bought' tabs, and I wan't the 'Related Products' tab to be first in the list. If not the first, certainly the one that is visible by default.

Can that be changed easily?

You have to change their order in the php file - /include/product_tabs.php

If you select say the 3rd tab and then go to a new product page, the default tab is still the 3rd one saved from the previous page. How do you always have it default to the 1st tab in the list and not remember the one from the previous product? We also want it to show related products by default on every product. Thanks!
