$category wildcards
 

hello, I was trying to do some page customization in displaying both the product name and the category in different parts of the page...

I could figure out most of the $product.producttitle type wildcards, however I was trying to add the $category (or a working $c, $cat variant) to display the category name on the category pages themselves but I have not been able to find any variant or $category.category type sub variant to work...

please advise if you can.

I don't think this is available by default. Check this for a workaround
