I screwed up my head.tpl!

Can someone help me? I seem to have gotten myself in a bit of a mess. I have gotten too comfortable with my "go back to default" button and now made a slight coding change in the header template and now it won't let me get to the store at all (much less the admin area).

Is there a way to get an original and reload it via FTP? I tried to reload a version I had from a few days ago but all that did was throw another error. Maybe I am not doing it right?

site: www.biz-plates.com/store

TIA for any help

Grab the file from the downloadable x-cart version in your files area, then upload the file to the proper location using FTP.

I'm sorry, I am not sure what you mean. We had X-cart installed for us so I don't think we have any files? or do we? :?

LOL. You made my night.

Well, that didnt' take me long did it? Can you believe my first xcart store I had up and redesigned in 2 days without mishap?

I reinstalled all the skin files from the install but now I can't login :? The passwords are still there, because if I do "send lost password" it does so correctly, but I can not login to the admin or provider area. It just gives me a 404 page. Any ideas with this one?

I swear I will be good and not cause any more problems if I can figure out how to fix this...

This may or may not work, try running cleanup.php

http://www.yoursite.com/xcartdir/cleanup.php

You might also want to double check the permissions of the files you uploaded.

Neither of those worked. :(

check you dont have any corrupt tables in your database. especially the sessions table. also maybe set sessions to store in database if they are not already. youll find this setting in config.php

I don't think this is the problem, the databases seem to be working fine and I can't access the config file since I can't get into admin and I can't directly browse to that file either.

This either happened when I messed up the skin code or when I replaced all of the template files. Not sure how this could have messed up the login page -- its like it doesn't know what to do once someone logs in.

Any other ideas? I may have to go grovel to x-cart for help....
