Changing the width of the Category list
 

So I'm trying to use the skin1/customer/categories.tpl on the front page as part of a different tpl.

Problem is I need to change the width of the categories.tpl It's like retarded wide lol

I hunted through the tpl after tpl trying to find the css setting and I can't find it.

That being said, I think it would be in my best interest to make new css entries for a new categories.tpl, but I need some help there, because I don't really understand where that stuff is coming from.

Here's my example site:

I'd like it to be about half the size.

Use FF with Firebug - it will tell you exactly which css classes are used

I found an entry for right-bar, but when I changed it from 180 to 120, nothing changed.

I like the Firebug thing, but I don't know why everyone assumes that people can just jump in there and actually figure out wth the xcart developers were smoking when they built the software :D

It is more than just changing the width of the column. The menu itself has also width setup on few places. You need to get deeper into the Firebug.

Well I give up, I've hunt through the main.css and I'm not seeing it.

Does anyone have any idea on this one?
