Best software to create/modify X-Cart Skins?

I am looking to find out what is the best software program for creating X-cart skins. Does anyone have suggestions or techniques?

Unfortunately there isn't any software, you need to write code :( You can use Dreamweaver, but it is difficult with all of the Smarty {if} conditions.

I personally use Dreamweaver but I dislike the load time.
So I often use NotePad++ for almost everything, and its free.

There is no particular software for this any web editor can be used for it.

I am using Webuilder 2010. And I have used a lot of verities but found Webuilder the best.

Your stuck using a standard text editor for templates. X-cart templates are pretty much only HTML/CSS/Javascript. The exception is smarty, but those are fairly easy to understand if you know English and good at inferring what the variables are for.

I personally use notepad++ for doing it. Seems to be the only editor that fully highlights opening/ending of code when clicked anywhere. Most others require you to click at the very start of it, and it doesnt really 'highlight'.
Couple that with firebug and you're golden.
