Move PP & Google Checkout buttons

Hi,
Wondering if someone might be able to advise how I can (and if it is okay, I don't want to break my shopping cart) move the Pay Pal and Google Checkout Buttons from the "View Cart" page to the next page, "shipping and checkout".

Currently the customer has to select Pay Pal, Google or "Checkout" (for credit cards) on the cart.php page - I would like to just have a "Checkout" button and have them make their selection on the cart.php?mode=checkout page.

Can this be done?
Thanks,
Jeanne

That may be possible but the reason these buttons are theere (at least one of the reasons) is that these buttons skip login/register page in the checkout process (I think)

Really. 8O

I would have never known that, will leave them as they are I suppose. Wonder if there's a way to maybe line them up nicer where it's not a button, blank line, "-- or use --", blank line and then button....

Cleaning that up a little better would prob be a good idea.

thank you!!

Here is what I was trying to explain (about presenting the buttons differently) - something like this:
