Debugging Console: How to enable 'Show variables' by default

In Debugging Console there are two buttons:

- Show templates (enabled by default)
- Show variables

How can I change the script to enable by default 'Show Variables'?

You should edit the "skin/common_files/debug_templates.tpl" template. See attached diff.
