How to remove Special offers from the top of every page

On my old xcart 4.1.10 I removed the special offers from every page, there was some editing of the templates in order to do this.

The same method for 4.4.1 doesn't work as there has too been too many changes in the code.

Can someone guide me in the right direction in order to remove the special offers from displaying on every page and still keep them on the items.

Hi ,
To remove the special offer message-
Go to -> skin/common_files/modules/Special_Offers/new_offers_message.tpl

Edit this file to remove the message .
