X-Cart forums - New Level Software

Some time ago I had this company install their Newsletter module on my site. For a very long time this module has not functioned properly. Is there someone that ran into this same problem and were you able to remove the module and go back to using the default one with X-cart. I have tried without any success to get tech support from New Level Software nor even a refund on the module they installed.
Basically, it sucks and I want o get rid of this module but do not know how to do this.
