Speed up site - Add Expires headers
 

Hi could anyone help please iam using http://gtmetrix.com to test and speed up my site, it states one issue is -

There are 3 static components without a far-future expiration date.

* http://www.trustlogo.com/trustlogo/javascript/trustlogo.js
* http://www.trustlogo.com/trustlogo/images/popup/seal_bg.gif
* http://www.trustlogo.com/trustlogo/images/popup/warranty_level.gif

Iam not sure how to add far-future expiration date or were to put any of the code, ive tried looking it up on google but iam still stuck can anyone advise please.

You can't because the files are not in your control. I would move the trust logo to https pages i.e. checkout.

Many thanks for the advice Jon I already had it on the checkout page but ive taken it off the home page, think its some what reasuring to a customer when they first land on your site they see an SSL Certificate, so all ive done for the home page is put a .png and removed the java, this has helped with the speed loading, think most people know how to check if a site has a valid SSL anyway.
Iam down to about 3.4 seconds load on the home page now.
