OnSale installation
I installed OnSale on my 4.3.2 site and it is not showing up at all in the admin. I assumed it would show up in the modules and need to be activated but it is not there. I had installed this on my old 4.1 site and it was great.
I've gone over everything and I'm drawing a blank. can anyone point me in the right direction? i even had my site restored from back up and started all over again, but it is exactly the same. site is fine, no errors, and no OnSale. Thanks |

Re: OnSale installation
not yet, I was thinking I must missing something obvious that someone could say "check this file" :) perhaps not. I'll check with Bill next.
just figured out its a problem with the onsale_sql.php file. the tables weren't created. running the link in my browser didn't work (permissions wrong?) so I had used the sql file upload in the admin and it said it patched successfully. apparently not. at least now I have a lead! :) and fixed it. had the permissions wrong, needed 755 on that file to run. |
Re: OnSale installation
now it appears to be installed properly... well, almost. the glitch is that the link in admin doesnt allow me access. I get this error:
Sorry, your page was not found! The requested page does not exist or you are not allowed to access it! checking a few more things, trying to see if I can fix it on my own. any ideas? thanks, Andrea |
