Adding Login Form to side column in v4.4.x
 
Hello

I am very basic starter of x-cart and need to know how to add login form in side column of x-cart v4.4.x.

Which template set are you using? Lucid 2-column, artistictunes, etc?

Unless you set admin to force the login on a separate secure page, you're going to be out of compliance with CC security concerns. Just an FYI

You already have it, as xcart implements it. That "Authentication" box on the right side has a sign in link. Click it and a login pop-up box appears. :wink:

As long as you understand the security concerns involved with such a login, not to mention that some folks may be hesitant to transmit their data over anything other than a https connection. 8O

Depending on how you want to implement it, the template path is:

skin\common_files\customer\right_bar.tpl
skin\common_files\customer\authbox.tpl

Just another FYI - spend some time with webmaster mode and you will be able to determine which template does what.
