Custom Product Tags for X-Cart
 

Hello Everybody,

I am looking to add some self defined Product Tags that would appear on Product Detail Page and would be visible to clients (not Meta Tags which exist in header and are publicly invisible). Such tags exist in Wordpress and Magneto and ultimately constitute a Tag Cloud unique to every product.

It would be great if these tags are like Magento Commerce Product Tags (look for product tags option at the footer) which could be suggested by the visitor as well.

So is there such functionality available in the form of some Add-on? I have studied some Tag-Cloud add-ons but those generate content automatically. Self-defined product tags are great and this is what I am looking for.

Look at Tag Cloud from Cart on Steroids. Admin-generated tags with great impact on visitors and Google. For the moment, you don't have the option for tags submitted by visitors.

Hi Phil
The tag cloud width doesn't grow 100% horizontal.
Infect it's growing vertically !

I don't know it's not working only for me since it's looking good on your site. perfectly in center & width is also fine.

Make sure tagcould.js is being loaded.

I double checked it. tagcould.js file is loading perfectly & I can see that in page source also.
But still tag clod growing vertically only !!

Phil,

I've been using your mod for a bit and wondered if there was another way to sort based on the number of times a word has been searched. Currently it is setup to sort alphabetically, instead of number of times searched (which is what the font size is based on).

I use http://www.tagcloud-generator.com/, I have generated the html code tag,
insert the code in the header.tpl, but not seen. on the client side.
apply, (Clear templates / cache X-Cart), nothing
paste the script in {literal} {/ literal}, nothing

try {include file ="../ tagcloud.html "}, nothing

I make different errors, depending on what I do.

The template files very depending on the skin used.

Use webmaster mode to determine the exact templates used on a page.
