Changing Invoice Layout
1 Attachment(s)
Hi
I need to make changes to the invoice layout generated after an order is placed. I have attached an example of what is being generated at present and have added below the changes that I would like to make. I don't know if these are template changes or not could someone please point me in the right direction. For example: 1. The default invoice shows "Order id" I would like this to say Invoice number and also want to be able to give this my own invoicing sequence instead of the default #1. 2. Under payment method the invoice in this case says "Purchase Order" I need this to show the actual purchase order number added by the customer. 3. I want to add my company logo to the invoice page and also be able to change the information that is displayed on the invoice. Cheers Peter |
Re: Changing Invoice Layout
Start by looking at the template itself - mail/html/order_invoice.tpl. You'll see that 'Order ie' is a language variable. You can edit that in the 'languages' area of the admin. The logo is companyname_small.gif. You can either upload your logo with the same filename, or upload another file and change the reference in the template. Not sure about the purchase order question.
