PDF Invoice
 

I did search, but I don't think it finds things with 3 letters or less, so it can't fond PDF!

Anyway, to reduce paper, and clutter, I want to offer PDF invoices for my customers, so when they check thier account it has a PDF icon for them to download the PDF invoice.

It would be great if it could also be sent with the email..

Is there a mod for this or a point in the right direction?

Save invoices as pdf files and send them by email/auto generate the pdf invoices and auto send to client's mail box is a nice feature. I think a lot of advanced CMS including an invoicing mod will have this feature, very nice. and on the invoice, the status of orders will be shown, such as "pending" "paid" etc. unfortuanately, i can not find mod like this either, maybe we should post it on the x-cart uservoice.

Ok
This is probably an easy question- How do you save the invoice as a pdf file, i have right clicked the page, no joy and tried "Save As" under "File" but no luck.

You have to have PDF creator installed as printer. Printing comes from your OS not from xcart. I use CutePDF - light and fast, but there are others

yes, I agree. you gotta install a pdf printer with your OS, I am using acrobat, which could be best the solution, even not small and quick, but it could be very good for all language situation. But I still hope there is a feature comes out: invoice emailed when it is processed or status updates.
