Product Options displaying Un-available options
 

We are using Product Options for colour and Assembly options etc, some with different prices.
But, after disabling colour options that are not used with every product range, the cart still displays (on the front end) the unavailable options in the menu, thus, making the customer trawl through the 20 options to find one that is available

Is there a way of completely disabling the unavailable options?

Unfortunately this isn't something they coded into the option module - even though we have been asking for it for YEARS. BCS Engineering can customize this for you though - they have done it for me on a couple of sits. www.bcsengineering.com

We have done this for our customers. We have done two options to different customers.

One type:

Do not show the out of stock variants

Type Two:

Display a out of stock notice & display a form to contact the admin team for an enquiry. Those details will be stored in the admin panel, the admin can respond to the customer later from the backend.
