AC OnSale sale type?
 

I'ce got a categrory that contains all of my subscription products.

As the subscription module is so bad, mine is quite modified, the 'normal' price (so the our price field) is passed to my paymnt processor as the recurring billing amount, so if I change the price, it will only collect that amount each month.

I want to offer half price for the first month, and I thought I could use my AC module,

basically I want to offer half price on anything in a certain category, as that will deduct the correct amount (I hope, some products have options,) but leave the actual price intact.

Which sale type do I need to use? It's late, hot and I'm blonde and confused :D
