Ability to email people with items in their cart
 

Hi.

Anyone know if there is a way to email all the people who have items in their cart. For example I want to offer a 10% discount to anyone who closes out their cart today.

Is their a way to do in X-Cart or a 3rd party mod?

Moving to Third Party Add-Ons. Would only work for registered customers who have something in their cart - most people don't log in before adding to the cart.

Our latest version of one page checkout, http://www.mercuryminds.com/product/x-cart-one-page-checkout-module.html has abandoned cart add-on. It has the list of incomplete checkouts, the admin can compose & send an email to them.

Thanks will look into the addon. I suppose we can alway run a job that sends an email to people who have Not Finished Order where that is the status of their last order and send email maybe 48 hours later.

Yes. We can add a such feature if you wish. but, most of the time, people hast automated messages. They love to see a customized email if i am a customer in this case.
