Can I add just the Header to static html pages?
 

Hello everybody. I was wondering if I could add just the header part of the X-Cart shopping cart to other static html pages of my website.

Here is the link where the Header is: http://myfurrybones.com/shop/

Here is the link where I want to install the Header: http://myfurrybones.com/intext.html

Would the php still work? What files do I need to modify?

Any information would be great.

You can't just include the template file, no, as you need Smarty present. How about adding the content of that page to an embedded static page instead? Otherwise you'd have to hard-code the header.

Not into a .html page. There is a way to create a separate .php page that works within the x-cart framework and with smarty but isn't restricted as one of the x-cart static pages. Just takes a little elbow grease and a mod to the home_main.tpl.

But without .php and smarty it's not happening.
