Is there a way to have search box search static pages?
 

Pretty basic request: My store also has a lot of content that I'd like have searchable via the store search box. Is there a setting or custom mod that will do this?

I found this . . . any experience with this? Any free mods that do the same thing?

Yes, there is an add-on when you go to purchase it - will search static pages and extra fields as well.

Our module does support static pages. You may consider "Base" version then.
