one-page-checkout masking my SSL Certificate
It appears that Altered Cart's One-Page-Checkout module somehow masks the SSL Certificate. I have had numerous customer call and complain that they cannot see if my site is secure or not, but since I was using a 'shared' certificate, I didn't care as much.
I just sprung for a new dedicated server with an EV Certificate which I would like every customer to see. But again, the certificate 'green bar' briefly appears in the URL window of the browser, and then it quickly dissappears as the one-page-checkout module loads. Is there any way to turn this 'masking' off? I assume its some kind of java script. thanks, |
Re: one-page-checkout masking my SSL Certificate
Are you sure this is OPC? Turn the module off, it will default to xcart checkout so you can test. If SSL shows then it is OPC if not is your server settings or SSL installation

Re: one-page-checkout masking my SSL Certificate
Figured it out...it wasn't OPC at all, rather I had:
"Do not redirect customers from HTTPS to HTTP: " Checked...now strangely its backwards...shouldn't it say: "Do not redirect customers from HTTP to HTTPS:"? In any case I unchecked that option and now it works fine. thanks for your suggestion. |
