Lightboxes break categories menu
We just upgraded from 4.1.x to 4.3.0, and I've discovered that what we were using for lightbox functionality is no longer working.
The 'detailed images' lightbox/popup works fine - however, on our old site we used a lightbox script to do popups for some other, non-product image things on static pages, etc. When I re-added that script to the updated template, our Products/Categories menu broke. I thought it might be because our old lightbox script used mootools and I see that our updated template now uses jQuery, so perhaps it was a conflict there? So, I tried a jQuery based lightbox script... same result, broken Categories menu. Any ideas on what I should be looking for in terms of a lightbox script that won't break our Categories menu? Or, alternatively, a way to easily invoke the lightbox script that's used for detailed product images from within static pages (or even product description text), e.g. using a 'rel' or 'id' tag? Thanks, Scott |

After a lot of trial and error, I found one that works: http://shadowbox-js.com/index.html

highslide.com
Used for both image products in a gallery and a single-use agreement page on the root. If you know some basic info about hacking in minor things its a breeze to do. |

Thanks, Tal... I took a quick look, and it appears to be a great option. Of course, I'll need to wait until you get to the 4.3.x version. ;-)
