Product Sort Order

Does anyone know how to change the product sort order (products_t.tpl or products_list.tpl) file manually? I know this is possible in General Settings -> Appearance, however I only need to do this in a custom file used by a different area of the site.

Let me know if anyone has did this, thanks!

If anyone needs to know, I was able to accomplish what I wanted using BCSE's advanced sort - and add "sort=pricelh" or whatever I needed at the end of the URL.

Sort can be overridden via include/search.php
