Getting changes to tpl to show up

I edited skin1/admin/menu_box.tpl in an external editor and the changes are now showing. I cleared template cache thinking that would do it but no dice.

How do I get the change to appear?

If the changes aren't appearing, are you sure you're modifying the correct template file for your needs? You could also put text where your modifying and see if it appears so as to rule out coding issues.

Yea, try single/menu_box.tpl

I had the same issue... turns out it was the single/menu_box.tpl file I needed to edit. This was changed in this new version since the old version you edit the file skin1/admin/menu_admin.tpl to edit the admin menu.
