Need a dropdown list with links in product description

Basically my client wants a list of cars to be shown in the product details section, this is so that the user can select their car. When selected he wishes for them to be linked to another page...

Any ideas of how to do this? When I'm trying basic html code with "select option" tags, the user can select but it doesn't link them.
