1 Page Checkout?
Hi guys/gals,
Quick question: I'm noticing I'm losing a lot of conversions during the checkout phase, specifically the page immediately after clicking checkout from the cart where it asks to either create a new account or sign-in to an existing account. Is there a possibility to have it behave much like Volusion's 1 page checkout where the customer enters their details and clicks checkout all in 1 step? My bounce rate at this stage in the process is almost 50% (1 in 2 customers leaves during checkout) and conversion rate is horribly low when not running specials. |

Check out Altered Cart's one page checkout module - www.alteredcart.com

Thanks for the link balinor, looks like exactly what I need. While I was hoping for a homebrew solution, I may just swing this way to save time (because time = money ). |
Re: 1 Page Checkout?
Yea, no need to re-invent the wheel on this one - it is worth the money. You'll pay for it in the first month of increased conversions.

It is well worth the investment.

We just had it installed and very happy with support and the product

Re: 1 Page Checkout?
I've just installed it, the only drawback I think is the extra registration panel, also how it shows and hides the password input, I wish it was just part of the the top enter details section. Anyway it's only been up for me for a few minutes so we'll see how it goes!

Re: 1 Page Checkout?
The show/hide password input is optional - check the settings.
