Is there a way to create a link that users can go to for a discount?

I'm looking for a way so that users can click a special link for a discounted product(s). For example: They go to http://www.mystore.com/xcart/specialoffer.php?232121 or something similiar and then it will automatically discount products for them.

Is there a way to do this? I looked at the Special Offers addon from X-Cart but I don't see anything about setting it up so that I can have a discount link?
