Previously I had edited the content of my home page from the standard welcome text that was on the home page when it was installed by using the webmaster mode.

Somehow today, while in webmaster mode, I deleted the contents of the home page that I had added. I deleted the "txt_welcome"... so now there is nothing to "click" on in webmaster mode to add my content back.

So, instead of adding my content that way I've tried editing /customer/home.tpl & /customer/home_main.tpl

The problem with editing those is that my content shows up on every page.

What should I be editing instead?

I've referred to the "list of things asked a million times" thread and it seems that the txt_welcome bit would apply to me, but I can't seem to find that on the "languages" page... maybe cause I deleted it?Any help would be appreciated.

That language variable lives in skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl

Try reloading, or referring to that file in your orig x-cart pack, or in skin1_orig online.

That did it... thanks. You guys are saving me serious money. Used to be that I'd open a ticket for every little question.
