New Products Alert Mod - broken?
 

Hello,

One of the first mods I did was a user suggested mod that alerts a customer of new products that have been added since their last login.

I'm having display issues with this alert and have tried to remove it from my code, but it's literally been months since I first did this and cannot find the thread for the life of me. I want to strip this code out as it's making my site look like crap.

It displays on the main page, as well as category and product detail pages. It seemingly displays in random spots on the page and gets cutoff from the content. It's also unclickable to view all new products, therefore rendering it completely useless.

I've attached a few screenshots. Hopefully someone that reads this knows which mod/thread I am talking about.

If I could get this working properly and out of the way of the content, say perhaps above the welcome message area, near the top navigation tabs then this would be great, but as of now it's 100% broken and needs to be removed.

I just found it on my computer and it's the What's New module by aheadWorks.

Nice shots ;)
The module was tested with default templates only and requires additional customization for customized ones.
In your case you need to add into your CSS file this rule:

#bubble{z-index:100}

Also I should say that this module can be turned off in your admin.

It's definitely a great mod, I just needed to get it to work properly ;). Thank you for the prompt reply. I greatly appreciate it :)

I'll give the fix a whirl and see what happens!
