Multiple Manufacturers
 

Does anyone know if there is any way to have x-cart have an option of adding more than 1 manufacturer to a product and also send a copy of an order to more than 1 email address? IE: 2 different designers .. both receive an email when an order is placed for a product and the product would appear in both providers stores.

Maybe a mod or something? I tried adding a comma and 2nd email address, but that was a no go, lol.

We are using x-cart pro 4.1.

I changed my manufacturer's list into 'Bestselling Ranges'.

I'm creating a site for baby products. It has categories like Learning, Safety, Toys, etc. But it also has age ranges like 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, and 3+ years.

I changed all the language variables from "Manufacturers" to "Age Ranges" (adjusting for plurals, etc., of course). And now I've got the awesome ability for a parent to see all the products in an age range OR all the products in a category. It's very cool.

However, some products cross age ranges, like "1-3 Years" or "2+ Years".

If I could assign multiple manufacturers I could address the first example by assigning age ranges of 1-2 Years AND 2-3 Years. The second example would be 2-3 Years AND 3+ Years.

But I can't.

If anybody wants to make the mod, we'd be willing to pay for it. And, judging by the posts in this thread, so would some other folks.
