Category Name in Page Title
 

Does anyone have a quick modification for v4.2 to display the category name in the page title when displaying categories ( i.e. products.tpl ) ?

Better still would be a modification which adds a field in the "modify category" page for a custom page title.

Thanks. I did see that in a search, but it's a modification for product pages, not product lists ( category pages ). I suppose a similar modification could be made for product list pages, but I was hoping to find something already completed and tested rather than fumbling through on my one. ...even if I have to pay for it.

Start from post #6 - it is a modification for product, category, manufacturer, static pages page title. So it will do just what you want. You will still have to add each category title to include whatever you want - it won't do it automatically. You can contact me if you can't install it yourself

Ah Steve, thanks. I see that now. So many posts turn into banter after the first few postings I've gotten into the habit of moving on if I don't see what I need immediately.

I'll give that mod a try.
