Adding to the Admin menu
 

Hi all,

I'm just trying to figure out how I add something to the admin bar on the right hand side of my test 4.3 website when I login. For now I just want to point it to a feed that Im generating.

So far I've tried to edit
/admin/menu_box.tpl

and if i preview the file the changes are there yet when logging in the changes are there. Have cleared out the var/templates_c directory but to no avail.

Any hints please?

Try /single/menu_box.tpl not admin/menu_box.tpl and when it works don't ask me why.

bingo, thanks for that, odd but it works.

The bit that goes
{capture name=menu1} through to 4

how do i add something to that

i.e add menu5 and call it addons, any ideas?
